JOB DESCRIPTION
Academic Work is looking for a Cloud Specialist for our client company Sonera Finland located in Helsinki.
You will be hired by Academic Work and will work as a consultant in our client company’s office. All candidates are kindly asked to aim all questions to Academic Work candidate.service@academicwork.fi.
JOB DUTIES
In this position, you will mainly work with designing, developing and testing new cloud services in addition to establishing already existing ones. You will also for example integrate and supervise platforms and workloads according to instructions. The position includes working with wide range of different kinds of tasks but mainly you will be working with cloud services and virtualizations. Even though the work is independent, you will still be a part of an international team.

REQUIREMENTS
Our ideal candidate has studied IT and has experience in cloud services and virtualization. Even though you might have not officially worked with them, personal interest in cloud and virtualization technologies is crucial (e.g. VMware). You know how cloud services work, in both software and operating system levels. You are a social team player with good problem solving skills and fluent skills in English. You are familiar with device communication and might even have knowledge in databases, such as MySQL.

- A degree in IT
- Experience in cloud services and virtualization technologies
- Fluent English, both written and oral
In addition to this, it is an advantage if you are familiar with JavaScript and telecommunication. Skills in Swedish are also seen as a plus.
Start: In August
