ABOUT THE ROLE
Academic Work is looking for a Data Engineer.
This job is a staffing position, which means that you will be employed by Academic Work and work as a consultant at our client company.
JOB DUTIES
In this project, you will work with database architecture, ecosystem and data catalogue management. You will create data and analytics infrastructure, enable access to data sources, acquire and clean new data and support business stakeholders. You’ll work closely with our growing data team. We have data scientists, architects, BI developers and data engineers around the company. The project role is planned until the end of 2018, however there is a possibility for a longer employment if the project is successful.
The job includes:
- Database architecture
- Ecosystem and data catalogue management
- Creating data and analytics infrastructure
- Enable access to data sources
- Acquiring and cleaning new data
- Supporting business stakeholders

WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Our ideal candidate has around 3 years of experience in data engineering and is comfortable working with Java, Python and/or Scala. You have also worked with end-to-end solutions, data lakes and are eager to learn more and develop your skills.
