Job description
We are looking for a talented and passionate developer to work in Helsinki as part of the provisioning platform R&D team. The team is responsible for developing F-Secure’s highly-available provisioning services used by customers’ world-wide.
As a developer, you will play a key role in developing, maintaining and monitoring our provisioning platform. In this role, you demonstrate a firm understanding of modern backend development to yield the highest possible degree of quality and scalability. Your way of working is driven by your attention to detail, but still not forgetting systems thinking and serving the customer.
We expect
To be successful in the role, you are expected have at least three years of experience in software development and interest in the back-end domain. You are experienced in Java EE and interested in working in an agile fashion and driving our Devops agenda. We expect you to possess:
•Solid experience in Java and frameworks like Spring and Hibernate.
•Familiarity with Python & Linux (Debian).
•Comfortable with test automation, deployment automation and configuration management and build tools such as Git, Maven, Jenkins and Ansible.
•Knowledge of modern software development methods and understanding of the whole product development life cycle.
•Fluent communication skills in English and good collaboration skills to fit into our international work environment.
•Self-motivation and passion in developing world-class software, ability to work both independently and in teams.
•Hands-on & can-do attitude and drive to follow things through from design table to production roll out.
A security background check will be conducted for the selected candidate, in accordance with the Security Clearance act 726/2014.
