ABOUT THE ROLE
Academic Work is looking for a Front-End Developer for our client company Whitepoint Oy.
This job is a staffing position, which means that you will be employed by Academic Work and work as a consultant at our client company.
JOB DUTIES
In this position, your duties will include versatile development tasks, mainly on the front-end side. Your tasks will consist of updating/customizing web pages, Facebook and other social communication channels. In general, your tasks will have a lot to do with user interfaces and creating their looks, and therefore user interface knowledge is essential. You will be working as a part of a team of about 10 members.
The technologies used in this team include JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, PHP, Python, .NET, and Ajax. The team works in a dynamic way, which means that you will get the chance to work independently but you can also flexibly ask and consult with others in the team. In this position, you will get a chance to grow and expand your skills as a developer in an encouraging environment.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Our ideal candidate has solid skills in JavaScript, CSS, and HTML5, and some knowledge of PHP. You have previous experience of similar development tasks from either your own free-time projects and/or previous work experience. In order to succeed in this position you are also familiar with user interfaces, are able to work independently, and you communicate fluently in English.
