JOB DESCRIPTION
Academic Work is looking for a Front End Developer for our client Quanturi Ltd. The job concerns developing the user applications of Quanturi’s IoT system for desktop and mobile use.
This job is a staffing position, which means that you will be employed by Academic Work and work as a consultant at Quanturi Ltd.
JOB DUTIES
As a Front End Developer your main task is to design and implement responsive web applications, including cross-platform development of mobile applications for Android. Your will participate in software specification and design and you will be responsible for implementing the user experience on desktop browsers and mobile devices.
This position gives you an opportunity to develop your skills in a growing software development team and contribute in developing the company’s software process, tools and practices. In addition, you will get to work in a small multicultural team in a close co-operation with your colleagues.
REQUIREMENTS
Our ideal candidate has a relevant academic background within IT and some hands-on experience of responsive web application development and web technologies. You could be a graduate or someone with more experience. We expect you to have a solid knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS. Experience with React or other JavaScript frameworks is an advantage, as well as experience with cross-platform mobile application development. Good communication and team-working skills are essential for this role. We also require fluent skills in English whereas Finnish is considered as an advantage.
