ABOUT THE ROLE
Academic Work is looking for a Junior JavaScript/PHP-developer for our client Druid Oy in Helsinki.
This job is a staffing position, which means that you will be employed by Academic Work and work as a consultant at our client company.
JOB DUTIES
You will work as a part of a team, which will encourage you to grow and become a more independent developer. You will get familiar to different kind of web-based systems that allow you to build and maintain web pages, digital services and digital solutions. In your work you will use for example JavaScript, PHP and React and you learn to choose the technologies and programming languages that best fit to client needs.
One example of our references is The Aava Medical Center. To unify Aava’s web service experience we designed and built a universal application programming interface (API) for different applications out of Aava’s patient information system. As the first application using the API we built the new Terveytesi (Your health) service using React technology.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Our ideal candidate has experience either through education and hobbies, or work experience. Knowledge of multiple technologies is seen in your favor, but minimum requirement would be basic knowledge in PHP and stronger capabilities in JavaScript. If you are a fast learner, you can complement your technology know-how with other technologies.
