About the role
Academic Work is looking for an Automation Engineer to our client Konecranes.
This job is a staffing position, which means that you will be employed by Academic Work and work as a consultant at Konecranes.
Job duties
In this position you will be working with experienced automation team. One of your main tasks is automation design with PLC software (Siemens Step 7). You will take a part of commissioning Konecranes’ lift trucks. The job description can also be slightly customized depending on your skills and interest.

We are looking for
Our ideal candidate has a relevant educational background (Automation) and some knowledge in Siemens Step 7 and networks. You don’t need to have experience in similar tasks, but most importantly, we are looking for a motivated and ambitious person, who learns new technologies and tasks quickly. You are active, responsive and independent employee, who is eager to develop one’s own skills. Fluent English skills are required in this position. Finnish skills is seen as an advantage.
