About the role
Academic Work is looking for Software Developer to our client Konecranes.
This job is a staffing position, which means that you will be employed by Academic Work and work as a consultant at Konecranes.
Job duties
In this position you will be working with experienced software development team at Konecranes’ Port Technology department. Together with your team you will develop software solutions by using mainly C++ in Linux environments. Your main tasks will consist of application development and software testing. The job description can also be slightly customized depending on your skills and interest.

We are looking for
Our ideal candidate has technical educational background (Automation, Software, Mechanical etc.) and some relevant work experience either from previous jobs or own projects. You also have experience from the C++, SVN, Jira and Linux environments. You are active, responsive and independent employee, who is eager to develop one’s own skills. Fluent English skills are required in this position. Finnish skills are considered as an advantage. You also have an ability to travel abroad on commissioning tasks.
