ABOUT THE ROLE
Academic Work is looking for IT Project Manager to our client Konecranes in Hyvinkää.
This job is a staffing position, which means that you will be employed by Academic Work and work as a consultant at Konecranes.
JOB DUTIES
In this position, you will work with an e-commerce harmonization project and will be responsible for the overall coordination of this project. You are working closely with different vendors and ensuring quality delivery of upgrades and releases. You will create and communicate weekly, monthly, and other required status reports to project stakeholders, vendors and business units.
The Konecranes STORE is a webstore that offers a wide range of spare parts and components for many models of overhead cranes and hoists. Customers can conveniently browse the STORE for products or search for a needed part using its name or product number. From hoists and components to guides and safety labels, as well as part manuals, Konecranes STORE offers an array of Konecranes products. With its genuinely responsive design, the STORE can easily be viewed on mobile phone or tablet.
This position suits a person who is driven by business value creation, solution quality and usability, with good focus on creating solutions and developing yourself and the processes even further.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for someone with a suitable academic background and ideally 1-2 years of relevant working experience. Previous knowledge of project work, as well as performance management tools helps you to take the ownership of the processes faster. To ensure effective team work and management, good communication skills as well as fluent English (written/verbal) are required.
We expect you to have:
- Suitable academic background and a strong drive towards IT services and projects
- Understanding of business processes, practices, and procedures
- Knowledge of project management
- Strong facilitation skills – must be able to work with a variety of stakeholders and gather information
- Fluent English (written and verbal)
Furthermore, you are eager to develop yourself and have genuine passion towards e-commerce. In this position we highly appreciate working experience from similar roles in the IT-field in general, but also ambitious and development-oriented attitude is highly valued.
