Academic Work is looking for a Junior Front-End Developer for our client TrademarkNow Oy.

JOB DUTIES
In this position, you will be working as a Junior Front-End Developer in a small front-end development team, which consists of three experienced colleagues. You will be mainly working with design and specification of new products and services - occasionally also on the back-end side. Your role includes maintenance and implementation of new features. Tech-stack consists of Scala, Slick, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, React, Typescript, Linux and Git.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Our ideal candidate has a relevant academic background within IT. You could be a graduate or someone finishing his/her studies since part-time can be discussed. We expect you to have strong knowledge of front-end development and willingness to learn new technologies. Interest to work with back-end development and understanding of relational databases (SQL) are required – thus your role focuses on the front-end side. You have a proactive attitude towards working and you are eager to learn new work methods and technologies. Fluent English is a requirement and Finnish is considered as an advantage.
