Academic Work is looking for Jr. Web Developer for our client Viima Solutions Oy. Viima is a fast growing software company with both international and domestic customers, such as If Insurance, Telia, and United Nations. They are looking for a young talent to grow with them and develop into a full-stack superstar. Work is either part-time or fulltime depending on your situation.

JOB DUTIES
In this position, you will become part of a talented, ambitious and fun-loving development team of four web development experts at Viima. You will build and develop Viima’s main product, a SaaS tool for companies to engage their employees, customers, or other stakeholders in transparent and collaborative development of ideas. This position allows you to develop into a full-stack professional and it will be tailored to match your experience, expertise and interest. Your job will include, for example, improving the functionality and quality of the product, creating entirely new features from scratch, user interface design, testing, and might also include customer specific projects. With Viima you will work with technologies such as Python, Django, jQuery, Marionette.js and Backbone.js.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Our ideal candidate has, or is studying for, a bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, engineering or economics. You are highly motivated to develop into a full-stack professional and possess some previous experience in web development, for example through school or hobby projects. Technical skills naturally matter but your motivation, ability to think critically, drive to learn and to get things done with the highest quality possible, are more important. You also speak and write English fluently, Finnish is a plus.
