ABOUT THE ROLE
Academic Work is looking for a Junior API Specialist for our client Abloy Oy to Espoo. This is preferably a full time position, but if you are finishing your studies, flexible hours or part time work is possible. However, 3 days a week is a minimum.
This job is a staffing position, which means that you will be employed by Academic Work and work as a consultant at Abloy Oy. Academic Work will take care process, therefore candidates are kindly asked to direct all questions to Academic Work hel03@academicwork.fi.
JOB DUTIES
In this position, you will be working with product called Safea. You will develop and maintain products external interfaces using Java and/or Ruby on Rails. You will be a part of a team, where you are provided with support and mentoring from more experienced colleagues. Your duties will also include helping clients and partners with product integration testing and provide them with information. You are also supposed to be able to take responsibility for your work and adapt to changes.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Our ideal candidate has an IT related academic background - you might be graduated or finishing your studies. In addition, succeeding in this position requires ability to adopt new technologies and eager mindset for working in a team with more experienced colleagues. You should be familiar with Java or Ruby on Rails and have basic skills in interfaces. Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is mandatory and knowledge in Finnish is seen as an advantage. We also expect you to be active and enthusiastic to improve your skills in changing conditions.
