ABOUT THE ROLE
Academic Work is looking for a Junior Research Engineer to our client Ekahau.
This job is a staffing position, which means that you will be employed by Academic Work and work as a consultant at Ekahau. This is first 12 months temporary contract, with possibility to get permanent contract with the client company after that.
JOB DUTIES
Ekahau creates Wi-Fi analysis and planning tools and measurement devices for globally well-known customers and they are the recognized leader in enterprise grade wireless network design tooling. At first, you will be working with versatile Java development tasks, mainly focusing in a long-term development of Ekahau’s product. Your specific job duties are initially on complex data structures and algorithms, as well as performance optimization. Later, depending on your personal interests, you will both develop the current product and create new stuff. In the future, you have freedom to expand your expertise to the direction you prefer.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Our ideal candidate has a good knowledge in Java and interest to develop in his/her career. You know the logic of programming, have good skills in data structures and algorithms, feel passion for performance optimized code and are willing to learn new stuff all the time! You might be recently graduated, finishing your studies or already gained a bit working experience.
We are looking for someone who can show his/her interest towards the industry. For example, you might have worked with interesting projects, created your own application or took part to open source competition. Please make sure you let us know about these in your CV. You are the one we are looking for if you are always looking for new challenges, likes to research and can work with uncertainty and incompleteness.
