Valitettavasti minulta loppuu taidot, ja kovin moni muukaan ei ole vastaillut kysymyksiisi, siksi suosittelen kokeilla Ubuntu-foorumia, koska siellä on enemmän tietäviä Linux-käyttäjiä kuin minä.
Lisäksi, kun sinulla sattuu olemaan Linux Mint asennettuna, joka on Debian pohjainen kuten myös Linux Mint.
Oikea osasto siellä on: Muut käyttöjärjestelmät ja Linux-jakelut
Pahoittelut, että omat taitoni eivät riitä ongelmasi ratkaisemiseen.
Kiitos vaivan näöstä, voisko tuon koneessa olevan kortin ajurit jollain konstilla poistaa, mielestäni se on ongelman alku ja juuri.

Vaikka en tiedäkään tarkoitatko koneessa olevalla kortilla koneeseen integroitua WLAN-korttia vai Ethernet-korttia, niin molemmissa tapauksissa poistaminen tapahtuu ajon aikana …
sudo modprobe -r [ajurinNimi]
[ajurinNimi] :n kohdalle kyseisen kortin kernel-moduulin nimi.
Pysyvästi poistaminen tapahtuu lisäämällä kernel-moduulin nimi blacklist.conf:iin. (Tosin ennen sitä täytyy varmistaa, ettei kyseistä ajurin moduulin kutsua löydy /etc/modules-load.d/ - hakemiston tiedostoista.)
