Olen yrittänyt tässä asentaa MakeMKV:tä koneelleni. Käytössä on Linux Ubuntu 14.04. Olen siirtänyt paketit koneelleni osoitteesta www.makemkv.com ja purkanut ne kummatkin omaan hakemistoonsa. Asennuksen pitäisi edetä siten, että seuraava käsky ilmeisestikin asentaisi tarpeelliset kirjastot, mutta käytännössä seuraava tapahtuu:

Joitakin paketteja ei voitu asentaa. On ehkä vaadittu mahdottomia tai,
jos käytetään epävakaata jakelua, joitain vaadittuja paketteja ei ole
vielä luotu tai siirretty Incoming-kansiosta.

unity-control-center : Riippuvuudet: libcheese-gtk23 (>= 3.4.0) mutta ei ole merkitty asennettavaksi

E: Virhe, pkgProblemResolver::Resolve tuotti katkoja, syynä voi olla pysytetyt paketit.

Pakettien riippuvuuksia ei voi selvittää. Tämä virhe saattaa johtua tarvittavien ohjelmistopakettien puuttumisesta tai asennuskelvottomuudesta. Myöskään keskenään ristiriidassa olevia paketteja ei voida asentaa samaan aikaan.
