At Nokia, the People and Places team will be responsible for driving the interconnectedness of the five core services Social Location, Music, Games, Messaging, and Media. Right now, we are strengthening our team and looking for a Senior SW Engineer to our People Player team.
The People Player team implements a JS abstraction on top of JSON API’s, implementing lower level REST API’s. This enables easy and consistent UI integration of people features across numerous OVI services, for example own profile creation, contacts mgmt, searching friends and communications.
To make the most of this role, you most probably are a hard-core coder, comfortable with both agile prototyping and formal product creation with the team.
Qualifications:
To add your talent to our team, you are a recognized expert with a relevant degree and 8-12 years of applicable experience. Your keys to success include familiarity with advanced techniques used in SW development like: AJAX, different UI libraries, web runtimes, XSS, MVC Pattern, CSS, multi browser implementations (Coding even IE6 - even though we don’t expect you to like it…), Linux, Redhat, and Agile SW methods, especially scrum.
