FULL STACK / BACKEND DEVELOPER

We have end-users of our cloud-based cash management applications in over 50 countries around the world. In order to take another step closer to our vision of becoming the global leader in our area of expertise, we are hiring more top-notch professionals to join our software development team in Tampere.
ABOUT THE JOB:
We want you to join our dynamic team to design and develop software in collaboration with our stakeholders. You will participate in, run and contribute to code reviews and estimate how much development effort is needed. We value team effort above all else and in this role you will support and coach other developers and continuously help to improve your team’s productivity, code quality, tools and technology adoption.
Our work revolves around our product, which means that we do not jump from one project to another but rather focus on long-term and high-quality development. Our product requires constant care, and our global mission brings with it a wide range of new possibilities for development.

WHAT WE WOULD LIKE FROM YOU?
We are searching for experienced and passionate candidates who enjoy teamwork, are eager to invest in their own professional development and want to keep their technical toolkit up to date. Since you will be working closely with your team and our subcontracting partners, we appreciate strong social skills and an overall friendly attitude. We are flexible and agile in the way we work and hope that you too have an open mind and willingness to adapt.
In your application we will be looking for:
• Software development competence (backend)
o E.g. C# or any other object-oriented programming language
• Some experience of UI development
o E.g. JS, HTML, CSS, React
o Eye for visual details, top quality user interfaces and usability
In addition, we would appreciate very much if you have experience with:
• Docker
• Relational and non-relational databases
• Git
• Linux
Last but not least, to succeed in this role you also need to have the ability to work efficiently in a truly multinational organization within virtual teams. We collaborate with our international colleagues on a daily basis and English is our official language.
