ABOUT THE ROLE
Academic Work is looking for full-time Technical Writer to our client company.
This job is a staffing position, which means that you will be employed by Academic Work and work as a consultant at Open Xchange Oy.
JOB DUTIES
In this position you will update existing customer data, so that data in organization becomes part of the product development process. You will take care that the data will be in clear and organized form. In your daily work you will communicate with the product development team and use various documentation tools.
The task is perfect for you who wants to increase knowledge of documentation and work with experimental programmers in a flexible work environment. As soon as you have gotten hang of your work tasks, you have possibility to work from distance.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR
You are what we are looking for, if you have some experience about documentation and technical understanding. You also have a suitable education background. You don’t need to know how to do programming, but it is important to understand code. More important than education is your own IT-projects and IT work experience.
Apply for this position if you have:
- Experience in documenting
- Appropriate education (eg IT bachelor)
- Unix, Linux knowledge or at least knowledge of how these work
- Good English language skills (working language)
It is also seen as an advantage if you have previous knowledge of Dovecot, and you know how to use notation tools like Wiki. If you have previous IT and coding projects, please tell about those in your application.
