Job duties

The MaxScale team develops the MariaDB MaxScale database proxy that extends the high availability, scalability, and security of the MariaDB Server while at the same time simplifying application development by decoupling it from the underlying database infrastructure.

In this role, you will be developing and testing new functionality using C++. You will also debug and fix bugs and collaborate with the support organization to solve customer issues.

We are looking for

Our ideal candidate has a suitable educational background (MSc/BSc) and good C/C++ programming skills. You have gained experience in programming for example through your own projects or work experience. Knowledge in databases and TCP/IP programming skills are also required. You also have some experience working in Linux environment. You communicate fluently in English and you have a passion for programming. It’s not expected that you’re an expert – more important is that you’re highly motivated and eager to learn more!

  • Knowledge in Linux
