ABOUT THE ROLE
Academic Work is looking for a System Developer to our client in Espoo! This job is a staffing position, which means that you will be employed by Academic Work and work as a consultant at the client company. JOB DUTIES
In this position, you will be working with interesting and challenging tasks in IT-development as a part of an expert team that is co-operating closely with the business. Your team is responsible for the smooth functioning of the operational environments that support application deployment to internal organization. You will be working with technologies such as MS Excel, VBA, Oracle and SQL databases. You will be working with Excel tool conversions, web applications for internal use and tools using Matlab models/simulations.
As a system developer, you will be working with different projects and supported by a talented team. This is a great opportunity to contribute in state-of-the-art projects and be a part of a growing international company!
WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Our ideal candidate has an IT, technical or business-related academic background – you might be already graduated or finishing your studies. In addition, succeeding in this position requires strong problem solving skills and analytical thinking. You understand databases (SQL and Oracle) and have good skills in MS Excel and VBA-programming. This position requires fluent written and oral English language skills, knowledge of Finnish language is seen as an advantage. Furthermore, you are also eager to develop yourself! In this position, we highly appreciate working experience from similar tasks or in the IT-field in general but it is not seen as a must-have.

Fluent English, knowledge in Finnish is seen as an advantage
