Academic Work is looking for a full time Web Developer in Helsinki!
You will be hired by Academic Work and will work as a consultant in our client company’s office.
JOB DUTIES
As a Web Developer you develop interesting and different scale web services in close contact with clients. Your work also includes server managing and different internal or your own projects. You will work independently in a team of two to six persons that uses Scrum-method. Job description will clarify depending on your knowhow, attitude and interests.
Technologies used at work:
- Programming language: PHP, Javascript, HTML, CSS, Ajax, jQuery
- Operating systems: Linux, OSX
- Databases: MySQL, PostreSQL, NoSQL and Content management system Drupal

REQUIREMENTS
You might be our ideal candidate if you have a relevant degree or you are in the late stage of studies. You have experience and knowhow on modern web development technologies through work, your own projects or hobbies. You master one programming language and you can work with it independently. You are spontaneous, social and a good co-worker. You want to work in close contact with clients and you’re not afraid to ask help if needed. You also communicate fluently in Finnish or in English. Skills in databases or in servers is seen as an advantage.
